Terms of use
Terms of Use
Effective date: 27 October 2026
These terms govern your use of the Vuyo website, operated by The Unusual Travel Company (“Vuyo”, “we”, “us”). By using Vuyo you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. What Vuyo does
Vuyo publishes a curated selection of experiences and events and helps you discover them by city, category and date. Listings are suggested by organisers or added by Vuyo, and every listing is reviewed by a person before it is published.
Vuyo does not currently take bookings, sell tickets or process payments on its website. Each listing's “Book Now” or “Register” button opens the registration or ticketing page chosen by the organiser. Registration, payment, confirmation, changes and refunds are completed there, under that organiser's or platform's own terms.
2. Using Vuyo
You agree to use Vuyo lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Submit information that is false, misleading, infringing, unlawful or harmful.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your connection with an event.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its administration area.
- Use Vuyo to send spam or promote events that are inconsistent with our Curation Guidelines.
3. Organiser responsibilities
Organisers who submit an experience are responsible for the accuracy of their listing - including dates, times, venue, pricing, inclusions, eligibility and safety or accessibility information - and for delivering the experience as described. Organisers must have the right to share any text, images or logos they submit, and should tell us promptly about any change, postponement or cancellation so we can update the listing.
4. Booking, registration and payment
When you choose “Book Now” or “Register”, you leave Vuyo for the organiser's chosen registration or ticketing page. Any booking, payment, confirmation or contract for the experience is between you and the organiser (or the platform they use), and is subject to their terms. Because Vuyo does not currently process bookings or payments, we cannot issue tickets, confirm places, accept payments or process refunds.
5. Changes, postponements, cancellations and refunds
Organisers may change, postpone or cancel experiences. When we are informed of a change we aim to update or mark the listing (for example, as “Cancelled”), but we cannot guarantee that every listing reflects the latest information. Please confirm details with the organiser before attending. Refund requests should be directed to the organiser or the platform where you booked.
6. Listing review, editing and removal
Submissions are suggestions, not guaranteed listings. Vuyo may approve, decline, request clarification, edit for clarity or presentation, feature, suspend, archive or remove any listing or host profile at its discretion, including where information appears inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or inconsistent with our Curation Guidelines.
7. Content and intellectual property
The Vuyo name, wordmark, design and original content belong to Vuyo. By submitting a listing, you grant Vuyo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, adapt (for example, crop or edit for length) and share the submitted text and images on Vuyo and in Vuyo's own promotion of the listing. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this licence. Third-party photographs remain the property of their owners.
8. Third-party websites and services
Vuyo links to organisers' pages and to third-party services (such as ticketing platforms, social networks and calendar apps). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies or practices.
9. Limitation of liability
Vuyo reviews listings against its publication criteria, but approval does not guarantee an organiser's conduct, or the quality, safety, legality or delivery of any experience. To the extent permitted by law, Vuyo is not liable for losses arising from your participation in an experience, from an organiser's acts or omissions, or from your use of third-party websites. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use of Vuyo means you accept the updated terms.
