Curation guidelines
What we look for.
Every experience submitted to Vuyo is read by a person before it is published. These principles explain how we review listings - so organisers know what to expect and visitors know what a listing does, and doesn't, mean.
- A clear experience
- Listings should explain what participants will do, what they can expect and what makes the experience worth considering.
- Accurate information
- Dates, times, venue, city, prices, inclusions, participation requirements and registration details should be clear and accurate.
- Relevance
- We prioritise experiences that encourage people to explore, learn, participate, create, connect or discover something new.
- Thoughtful presentation
- Listings should include useful descriptions and appropriate imagery where possible. Misleading titles, exaggerated claims and incomplete information may result in a request for edits.
- Responsible hosting
- Hosts should provide accurate organiser information and relevant safety, accessibility or participation guidance.
- Variety and originality
- We welcome a broad range of experiences, including cultural activities, creative workshops, outdoor outings, performances, food experiences and community gatherings.
- Transparent pricing and booking conditions
- Fees, additional charges, eligibility requirements, cancellation terms and booking requirements should be disclosed clearly on the listing and on the organiser's registration page.
- Human review, not a guarantee
- Approval means that a listing has been reviewed against Vuyo's publication criteria. It does not guarantee a host's conduct, the quality or safety of an experience, or whether the event will ultimately take place.
- Right to review and remove
- Vuyo may request clarification, decline, edit for presentation, suspend or remove listings that are inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, inappropriate or inconsistent with these guidelines.
What we don't list
To keep Vuyo inclusive and welcoming, we don't list nightclubs, alcohol-centred parties, pub crawls or similar nightlife-led events.
